A screenshot posted on the subreddit mentioned above shows that Google Message is trying to establish an E2EE connection in an RCS-enabled group. The feature is seemingly not fully ready yet, as the attempt failed. Instead of receiving an end-to-end encrypted message, group members received a note saying the message is encrypted, followed by the link to Google’s official support page for E2EE and a string of code similar to query parameters on URLs....

This shutdown of Hangouts has been coming for a long. Google began the groundwork for it a couple of years back, with Google Chat slotting in as the replacement. The migration started back in June 2020. The company continued to move users to the new, modern messaging service throughout the past two years. It is finally ready to kill Hangouts for once and all. The old Hangouts mobile apps appear to be the first to go down....

So far it looks like there are going to be two different models to choose from. One version for men and one version for women. With three different styles for each. Both versions of the watch will be powered by the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ chipset, and come with 8GB of internal memory for storage of apps. They also both come with a 1.28-inch display. And although these are arriving after the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, they’ll be running on Wear OS 2....
