The Galaxy Fold, which launched as Samsung’s first-ever foldable smartphone in early 2019, is currently receiving the October security update in France, SamMobile reports. The rollout should soon expand to many other regions. The new firmware version is F900FXXS6FUI5. The official changelog for the update only mentions the generic “improved security” and that’s probably it. The Fold is unlikely to be receiving any new features and/or user-facing improvements with this update....

The FCC listing confirms some of the rumored specs of the Galaxy M33 5G. We can see the device packs a battery unit with model number EB-BM526ABS while the charging brick bears the model number charging brick. This is a 25W charger. While we can’t confirm whether Samsung will ship this charger bundled with the phone, the device is now pretty much confirmed to support 25W fast charging. We are expecting it to feature a 6,000mAh battery....

As of this writing, the Android 12 update for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is rolling out to the Verizon units of the phones. The update comes with firmware version N981USQU2EULE and N986USQU2EULE for the two models respectively. Units on other wireless providers should also make the jump soon. This update for the Galaxy Note 20 duo bundles the December 2021 Android security patch. It isn’t the latest available since January 2022 SMR (security maintenance release) has already rolled out to a few Samsung Galaxy smartphones....
