Unihertz plans to revive the BlackBerry KEY2 design
Well, the company seems to be at it again. Unihertz teased its upcoming smartphone via Twitter, as you can see below. It shared a rather dark image in which you can see a laptop keyboard, and a physical keyboard on a smartphone-like device.

If you check the comments, however, you’ll see that people simply tuned up the brightness, and revealed what lies in the darkness (image below). A smartphone that definitely looks like the BlackBerry KEY2.
It will have a noticeably larger display than the ‘Titan’, and one that will have a more normal aspect ratio. A full physical keyboard will sit below that display, and a fingerprint scanner as well.

The fingerprint scanner will be included in the button below the keyboard, the centered, elongated one. On the ‘Titan’, it was implemented inside the spacebar. This time around, it will almost certainly sit in the one below the display. As some of you already know, OnwardMobility was supposed to launch a new BlackBerry smartphone with 5G connectivity, but that will never happen. It was confirmed a while back that the plans have been scrapped. So, if you’re looking for a smartphone with a physical keyboard, this is probably the closest you’ll get to actually owning a new BlackBerry smartphone. We’re not sure when will Unihertz make this smartphone official, but the company did say it’s coming soon. It will also be interesting to see how large its battery will be. The ‘Titan’ had an excellent battery size for its needs, so it remains to be seen what will happen this time around.
