Call of Duty Mobile releases globally on October 1
The official release date for CoD Mobile will be October 1. Once the game launches, it’ll be live on both Android and iOS platforms. Which means you can grab it straight from the Play Store or the App store. This is a free-to-play title so you won’t have to put any money down to install it. It will however have in-game micro transactions. The good news is they don’t feel like they’re aggressive or pay to win, which is a good thing.

If you didn’t get a chance to test out the CoD Mobile beta, you wouldn’t know how well the game plays. Tencent and Activision are hailing this as a “signature” CoD experience that players know and love. This isn’t really off the mark at all, as it does look and feel like a standard game in this franchise. There are differences. The most obvious being that the graphics aren’t going to be as good as current PC or console titles in the series. Beyond that, a lot of what players expect out of CoD is there, right down to the fast-paced Team Deathmatch.

There’s no single-player campaign mode
The one thing that Call of Duty Mobile doesn’t include is a single-player campaign mode. This is strictly a multiplayer experience. So that means it’ll feel like its in the same arena as games like Fortnite and PUBG MOBILE. The game offers regular Team Deathmatch and other familiar multiplayer modes. It also offers the new Battle Royale mode, and there will be a Zombies mode added in the future. This may even be available at launch on October 1, though there has been no mention of it so far it seems. If you still haven’t pre-registered for the game and you’d like to, you can do so from the Play Store button below.
