According to SamMobile, the carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ are now receiving the December security update in the US. The new update comes with firmware version N97xUSQS7FUKA and is currently available on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile’s networks. But it should now be just a matter of time before the rollout hits units on other carriers as well. Meanwhile, outside of the US, the December update has been spotted for the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The new firmware version for the phone in these markets is N976QXXS5FUK4. You can expect this update to be available widely across the world in the coming days. As far as the contents are concerned, we are in as much darkness as you. Samsung has yet to publish the updated monthly security bulletin for December 2021. You can expect fixes for a few dozen privacy and security issues of varying severity from the Korean giant as well as Google. Don’t be hopeful of any new features though. Everything new that Samsung has to offer will now come as part of the One UI 4.0 update. The company is currently beta testing the latest version of its custom Android skin for the Galaxy Nte 10 series.
