As of this writing, the November SMR (Security Maintenance Release) is rolling out to the unlocked Galaxy Note 10 duo in the US. The new firmware version for the phones is N97*U1UES7HVJ3. The update is already available on most networks, including AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, SamMobile reports. A wider rollout covering the carrier-locked units should follow soon. Samsung has already published its monthly security bulletin for November. The latest SMR patches more than 60 vulnerabilities. Google patched the majority of those. The Android maker took care of dozens of high-risk vulnerabilities and a few critical ones affecting the entire Android ecosystem. Additionally, Samsung patched over 20 Galaxy-specific privacy and security flaws with this release. If you’re using a Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note10+ in the US, these fixes should be available to you soon. As usual, Samsung will roll out the update in batches, so not everyone will get it at the same time. You should be notified once the OTA (over the air) package becomes available for your phone. You can also manually check for updates, though. Open the Settings app and go to the Software update section. Now tap on Download and install to see if you have an update available. If not, wait a few days and check again.

It’s the season of Android 13 updates for Galaxy devices. Samsung is seeding the new Android version to its devices left, right, and center. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ will never be in that mix. The phones aren’t eligible for the update. They debuted with Android 9 Pie in mid-2019 and have already picked up the promised three major Android OS updates from Samsung. The company will only push security updates to them, at least until August next year. Meanwhile, Samsung continues to release Android 13 for its eligible devices. It updated the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 to the new Android version earlier today. More devices will join the party in the coming weeks. We will let you posted.
