The Galaxy S22+, on the other hand, will ship with a 4,500mAh battery pack. A battery with a model number EB-BS906ABY got certified by SafetyKorea, and some live images got included as well. The ‘S906’ model pretty much confirms this battery is made for the Galaxy S22+. It has a rated capacity of 4,370mAh, but it will be marketed as a 4,500mAh battery. This means that the Galaxy S22+ will have a smaller battery than its predecessor. The Galaxy S21+ included a 4,800mAh battery, which offers 300mAh more capacity than this one. The Galaxy S22+ will include a smaller display, though. It will ship with a 6.5-inch panel, while the S21+ includes a 6.7-inch display. It remains to be seen whether this capacity will be enough for the device to offer good battery life.

Speaking of which, the Galaxy S22 will also ship with a smaller display, and a smaller battery. The S21 offers a 4,000mAh battery, while the S22 will sport a 3,700mAh battery pack. For those of you who are wondering about the Galaxy S22 Ultra, that battery still didn’t pop up on SafetyKorea, but the device will retain the same battery capacity as its predecessor. It will ship with a 5,000mAh battery. That is something that several reports have said thus far, and it does make sense. The phone will also keep the same display size as its predecessor, it will ship with a 6.8-inch panel. All three of these phones are expected to become official in January. The mass production is tipped to start in November, in case you were wondering.
