Notably, as per a Twitter post (via PhoneArena) by app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi, Instagram was spotted testing a cool new feature. This feature is called ‘Edit Grid’ and it appears inside the profile settings menu. Paluzzi posted a couple of images about the new Instagram ‘Edit Grid’ feature, which shows the functionality in action. According to Paluzzi, the edit grid option allows you to edit the profile grid and rearrange the posts in any order that you like. This means after this feature goes live, you will have the ability to re-arrange the profile gallery. It will help you in maintaining the aesthetics of your profile. There are multiple businesses, and so-called Instagram influencers, that have to maintain their profile in a certain manner that appeals to their niche audience. Apparently, this Instagram Edit Grid option could be a blessing for such users. Moreover, you would be able to arrange the posts on your profile, irrespective of the date they were uploaded on posted on.

The process of using this Edit Grid option also seems very easy. To use it, you need to head over to the Profile Settings menu. Then scroll down to find the Edit Grid option. This will open the post grid on your profile. Here you can simply drag-and-drop the posts in any order that you like. Besides, Paluzzi also shed some light on a new sticker that Instagram is working on. It is the emoji reaction sticker, the availability of which is not known at the moment. Further, there is no information on whether the edit grid or emoji reaction feature will make it to the stable version of the app or not. Officially, earlier in January, Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced a bunch of changes that will be coming to the feed section of the platform. The features are already live for Instagram users that giving them three new ways to sort their home screen. Users can sort their home screen in Home, Favorites, and Following categories. Home shows your feed in an organized way, the way you used to see it. Favorites show your feed on which you have put a Star on. Lastly, the Following option will show posts from people you follow.
