This same issue with stock has made it extremely hard to find core components to build your own gaming PC. Namely it’s the GPUs which are the hardest to find. But stock issues have cropped up for CPUs, RAM, and SSDs as well. Because of these issues, some customers will no doubt have an easier time buying a pre-built gaming desktop, and MSI has people covered here. All of the new models, at least the ones MSI highlighted, come with an NVIDIA RTX 3090 GPU. So they’re going to be pretty darn powerful.

MSI like most other brands makes a wide range of different PCs. Not all of them powerful and not all of them are focused on gaming. These aren’t that. MSI seems to be doing what it does best with these latest models. Beefing them up for seriously excellent gaming performance. The RTX 3090 GPUs are just the tip of the ice berg, too. Additionally, each new model is running with an Intel 12th Gen processor. Specifically the Core i9-12900K. This will boost gaming performance by a noticeable amount (but not staggering) compared to the Intel Core i9-11900K. For reference, MSI shares a comparison chart between the two which you can see in the image below. Just based on those two pieces of hardware alone, these likely aren’t going to be cheap. But then again the most powerful gaming PCs rarely are. Especially these days when building your own for less than pre-made is nigh impossible. MSI has three models which are part of this lineup. This includes the MEG Aegis Ti5 12th, the MEG Trident X 12th, and the Aegis RS 12th. The first of these three appears to be MSI’s flagship. Coming in a huge full tower case with all the trimmings and plenty of menacing RGB. Meanwhile the MEG Trident X is what MSI calls the gaming centerpiece. It comes in a much slimmer package that mimics the design of a console in size. Lastly, with the Aegis RS 12th MSI is touting this as the go-to machine for Esports. At the moment, MSI doesn’t list costs or release dates for these machines. So there is a chance they may not come out in 2021.
