It’s no surprise when enterprise professionals use iPhones to conduct their business. iPhones are thought of as the industry’s standard smartphone. In any case, the irony is still not lost when an Android manufacturer tweets about Android phones using an iPhone. Several other Android companies have gotten flack for doing the same thing.
Why did OnePlus tweeted using an iPhone?
Why did OnePlus tweeted using an iPhone?
Well, anyone in the smartphone tech sphere should be familiar with YouTuber Marques Brownlee AKA MKBHD. He held his annual “Smartphone Awards” and awarded OnePlus with a rather disappointing prize. The OnePlus 10T was given the title “Biggest Bust of the Year.” Basically, that phone failed the most to live up to expectations. Regardless of how big you are as a company, any word like that from a YouTuber as reputable will definitely cause some loss in sales. The company posted a response on Twitter about the award, and that tweet was made from an iPhone. The Tweet read, “How do we claim our trophy [Rolling eye emoji]? We will prove you wrong in 2023.” This tweet had the hashtag OnePlus 11 5G.
— Marques Brownlee (@MKBHD) December 28, 2022 We can’t deny that 2022 was not a good year for OnePlus. The company did not release a regular OnePlus 10 model. Rather, it only released the Pro model, and that phone failed to stand out in any way; it was just a smartphone. Then, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 10T. It was a confusing phone, as it lacks notable OnePlus features like the physical alert slider. Also, if you factor in the poorly performing OnePlus Nord N300 5G, you can see where OnePlus has been falling behind. However, it is working on the next OnePlus device along with other devices like its mechanical keyboard. We are not sure what the future holds for OnePlus, but we should all remain as optimistic as the company itself. OnePlus is looking to do better next year, and we are all for it.
