Mignano joined Spotify as podcast tech chief in 2019 after his app Anchor was bought for $150 million. Since then, he has been responsible for managing and overseeing the podcast tech on Spotify. As a side note, Anchor is an app that lets people create their own podcasts and share them online. This is definitely not good news for Spotify podcast fans, as Mignano has an active role in developing podcasts on the platform....
T-Mobile sounds very sour in its official statement, blaming partner carriers for not acting promptly. The company says it provided its partners “plenty of time and resources” to take care of their customers. But “some of those partners haven’t followed through on their responsibility to help their customers through this shift. So, we’re stepping up on their behalf.” The statement doesn’t name a carrier but there’s a strong hint of it being a dig at Dish Network....
