As of this writing, the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update for the Galaxy A71 is rolling out to users in Hong Kong. But it should now only be a matter of time before the rollout crosses boundaries to other territories. The new firmware version for the phone in Hong Kong is A715FZHU8CVB6. This update comes with the February 2022 Android security patch. It isn’t the latest available but not too old either....

A new Galaxy S21 FE version with model number SM-G990E has just surfaced on benchmarking platform Geekbench. The listing clearly mentions the Exynos 2100 processor with its clock speeds: one CPU core at 2.91 GHz, three at 2.81 GHz, and four at 2.21 GHz. As expected, the highest-end Galaxy S22 model will feature a 108-megapixel primary camera. It’s reportedly an improved version of the ISOCELL HM3 sensor found in the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The 1/1.33-inch sensor has 0.8μm-sized pixels, an F/1.8 aperture, and an 85-degree field of view (FOV). It should offer phase detection autofocus (PDAF), Laser AF (autofocus), and OIS (optical image stabilization). The ultrawide lens is also unchanged from the Galaxy S21 Ultra....

Samsung usually sells its flagship phones in a host of color options. It will be no different for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The latest rumor suggests at least four color choices across the lineup. However, as said earlier, it doesn’t mention if all three models will get all of the rumored colorways. If history is any indication, Samsung may keep at least one color exclusive to the Ultra model....
