Sounds good, right? For the most part, it is, if you’re a fan of those older classic games. But it seems things aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. There’s less than a week to go for the event and we have no idea yet what Sony’s going to unveil. Well, we know that it’ll be a smartphone thanks to the Xperia branding at the front and center of the official teasers. But that’s about it. There have been no rumors of an upcoming Sony phone recently. And while we’re left scratching our heads, the company has released a new teaser video for the launch event next week....
The Sony partnership will see pro teams obtain “state-of-the-art” Xperia devices for use during competitions. It’s not clear if pro team players will be given these phones only for the duration of the competition. But at the very least, the partnership ensures that they will be using Xperia devices during matches. It also helps ensure that all pro team players are using the exact same device. Which more or less eliminates any elements of device advantage from one team to another....
As of this writing, the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy Note 20, and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra are receiving the stable One UI 4.0 update in Switzerland. But the rollout should soon reach units in other territories as well. Hopefully, Samsung has tested the new software package extensively for any bugs. It wouldn’t be nice to see if the company has to halt the update due to issues, not to mention users’ suffering....
