Samsung’s earnings report doesn’t break down the sales volume of the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 phones. However, the company states that the latest flagships brought “significant revenue growth” from their predecessors a year earlier. This either means the new phones have sold in more quantity or buyers are preferring the expensive models (Plus and Ultra) over the vanilla Galaxy S22. Either way, Samsung seems to be pleased with the sales of its 2022 flagships....

The June SMR (Security Maintenance Release) contains fixes for more than 70 vulnerabilities. These include several critical flaws related to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. A bunch of these issues are exclusive to Samsung’s Android-powered devices, including smartphones and tablets. The Galaxy A51 is picking up all those vulnerability fixes with the latest update. This release likely won’t bring any other goodies to the device. It recently received the Android 12-based One UI 4....

The latest update for the Galaxy Buds Pro and the Galaxy Buds 2 is already available to users globally over the air (OTA). The updated firmware versions for the two pairs are R190XXU0AVF1 and R177XXU0AVF1, respectively. The OTA package weighs 2.33MB for the former and 3.01MB for the latter, SamMobile reports. So it’s a fairly small update that you can download over cellular data. As usual, you can download and install this update through the companion Galaxy Wearable app on your connected smartphone....

First reported by SamMobile, the September SMR (Security Maintenance Release) for the Galaxy A71 comes with firmware version A715FZHU8CVI4 in the aforementioned two markets. This build number suggests that the phone is getting something more than just the vulnerability fixes for this month. Unfortunately, Samsung has yet to reflect this release on its official update tracker. So we can’t confirm the precise changelog. Don’t be hopeful of major new features, though....
