For the uninitiated, OSOM is a new company formed by the team behind the Essential Phone 1 (PH-1) after the latter went defunct. OSOM announced its first phone last year, calling it the OSOM OV1 to evoke a feeling of continuity from the PH-1. But earlier this year, the company renamed the phone to Saga and teamed up with Solana Mobile for its market release. It also pushed back the launch from late 2022 to early 2023....
As far as gaming features go, Panasonic has reduced the lag at 60Hz. There’s also HDMI 2.1 support available for 4K 120Hz gaming. No VRR unfortunately. Panasonic also has automatic detection of NVIDIA GPU’s and a Game Control Board overlay so you can adjust some common settings like the viewing mode and HDR tone mapping. Maybe not the dream TV for gamers, but these are features that gamers will still appreciate....
