The newest Samsung foldables are first receiving the November SMR (Security Maintenance Release) in the US. The rollout has begun for the unlocked variants stateside. The update comes with firmware version F721U1UES1AVJ7 for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and F936U1UES1AVJ1 for the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The former is also receiving the new security patch in Europe. But, as of this writing, it’s limited to a handful of users in Ireland with firmware version F721BXXS1AVJE....

The latest version of the Pixel camera app has a hidden new mode codenamed “Jupiter,” which 9to5Google found while decompiling the APK file. This mode gets a dedicated button to the left of the camera switcher. The icon for it is what catches attention here. It seemingly depicts a foldable smartphone. There’s an arrow running from the back to the front, as well as a dotted line at the center. It appears to urge the user to fold the device....

This bottom bar is seemingly designed to hide the row of shortcuts currently available at the bottom of the chat window.
