Starting with the layoffs, reports suggest Twitter will get rid of half its workforce globally. That’s almost 4,000 job cuts at once. Some Twitter employees have already filed a class-action lawsuit against the company alleging a violation of the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN). The Act requires large companies to notify employees at least 60 days in advance before mass layoffs. While the lawsuit will take time through the court’s route, Musk said that the massive layoff was inevitable as the company was losing over $4 million every day....
Determining a standard charging port for all devices sold across the EU has been in the works for over a decade. In September 2021, the bill was finally tabled by the Commission, and now it’s approved by the European Parliament with 602 votes in favor, 13 against, and eight abstentions. According to the bill, “all mobile phones, tablets, and cameras sold in the EU will have to be equipped with a USB Type-C charging port” by the end of 2024....
As you can imagine, the FedEx app is specifically built to track FedEx packages; the UPS app is built for tracking UPS packages. However, we saw a leak earlier this year about a feature called Crosstrack in the FedEx app. Supposedly, this feature will allow you to track packages from other carrier as well. Sure, that may sound strange, but there are services out there that track packages from other services like Shop....
