In a press release, Spotify revealed that Premium users with a Samsung Android smartphone can start music sessions during video calls over Google Meet. Meeting hosts can find the option to begin a listening session under the three-dot menu in the lower right corner of the screen. They can add up to eight people with individual Spotify Premium accounts. The company calls feature Spotify Group Session. Carl Pei, the company’s founder went to Twitter to inform people that its earbuds will be seeing a pricing increase. And it’s a pretty big jump. According to the tweet, the Nothing Ear(1) will get a 50% price hike. That brings the price up to $149.
