Over the years, Google has launched a few different pairs of Pixel Buds. Including both wired and true wireless models. Each iteration has included notable improvements over their predecessors. But it seems Google is really pulling out all the stops with its upcoming Pro model. Google says the Pixel Buds Pro will launch later this Fall alongside the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

Active noise cancellation is nothing new in true wireless earbuds but it will be a first for Google’s Pixel buds. The new Pixel Buds Prow ill use advanced noise suppression algorithms to filter in and out noise so you hear what you want to hear. Or block out what you don’t. Powered by a custom audio chip and beam-forming microphones, the earbuds should be able to provide uses with some great sound. Speaking of letting sound in, the Pixel Buds Pro will also feature a transparency mode for when you want to hear the world around you. And coming in a future update after the buds launch, Google will add in a spatial audio feature to make audio more immersive. Which will be perfect for watching media and playing games. Google says the Pixel Buds will last for up to 11 hours of listening time if active noise cancellation is turned off. Or up to 7 hours with it turned on. That’s not the longest-lasting battery life you’ll find on TWS earbuds. But it’s not terrible either considering all the other features. Like translation in 40 languages. The Pixel Buds Pro will be capable of multi-point pairing too. Letting them seamlessly switch from audio on your phone to audio on something like your laptop. The Pixel Buds Pro will retail for $199 and come in four fun colors. Three that Pixel fans should already be familiar with – Charcoal, Fog, and Coral. And one exciting new color, Lemongrass.
