Spring is here!! The weather is warm and the flowers are blooming.  This is by far my favorite time of the year!  It’s also time to roll up our sleeves and get some spring cleaning done!  I love getting organized and when my husband is on board we get SO much done. Today we’ve turned spring cleaning into a fun and flirty home date idea! Don’t worry, there is PLENTY of play in this Spring Cleaning Date!

HOW IT WORKSBecause all of our houses and projects are different, we’ve turned this date into a spring cleaning map.  There are 3 project spaces, 2 break spaces and a final reward card! Together, pick the project cards you want to tackle and the fun break cards you want to take in between. Our talented designer Kensie of Kensie Kate Designs did an AMAZING job on these cute printables! Her stuff is seriously cute!

There are plenty of project cards to choose from, but if you don’t find the perfect one for your house there are a few blank cards to write in your own project. Same goes for the break cards – pick your favorite or write in your own idea.

Grab some glue and paste the cards on to your map.

When you’re finished you will have a great outline for the Spring cleaning projects you want to tackle together.  My husband and I picked the garage first {because it was a HUGE mess} and the other two projects were much easier. Working together it didn’t take us too much time.  Plus, we had all of the fun breaks to look forward to!

At the end of the day my Hubby had this waiting for him.  With all the spring cleaning, we were both pretty dirty and needed a good scrubbing and a Bubble Bath. {Wink!} But that’s not the BEST part…

We still had our fun reward to claim! A Spring cleaning date can’t end without a sweet treat for the two of us to share!  The day before our date, I stopped by the store and picked up some of our favorite sweets. Yummy!

We cuddled up with our basket of goodies, a blanket, and a good movie {we watched Date Night – love it!}.  It was the perfect way to end our date night!  It felt so good to get some of our spring cleaning done and have a blast doing it. If it’s got to be done anyway, make it FUN!
