We’re still not sure about variants in other markets, but it’s possible that Samsung will combine the Snapdragon 888 with the Exynos 2100. In some markets, it may run the Snapdragon 888, in others the Exynos 2100. The chip shortage may alter Samsung’s plans this year. It may have to use one or the other SoC more than it originally planned. In fact, the company had to postpone the launch of the device because of the chip shortage. The Galaxy S21 FE was supposed to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Watch 4 series, and Buds 2 earlier this month. Samsung allegedly had to postpone it due to a chip shortage.

We still don’t know when exactly will the device arrive, but it is rumored to launch in October. We’re expecting more information to arrive throughout September. Who knows, Samsung may even opt to announce the phone in September. According to rumors, the device will once again feature a fullHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, just like its predecessor. It may also have a plastic backplate like the S20 FE. Samsung may include 8GB of RAM this time around, while both wired and wireless charging will be included. The same actually goes for reverse wireless charging. The phone will look like a combination of the Galaxy S20 FE and S21. It will include three cameras on the back, and one on the front. The device’s bezels will be rather thin. If you’d like to know more about the Galaxy S21 FE, feel free to check out our preview.
