And there’s good news if you’re still waiting on yours. Valve today has confirmed it will be speeding up the whole process. In a post on the official Steam Deck Twitter, Valve says it will be shipping out more orders than before. Which means you should be seeing your emails sooner than originally anticipated.

Loads of people are still waiting on their Steam Decks. But Valve seems to have made a conscious effort to get through orders as quickly as it can. That process is about to get better as the company promises to send out more emails to buyers per week. Valve just sent out the first batch of emails to Q2 reservation holders. It says that starting today, more emails will be sent out each week to those who are expected to get their Steam Deck in Q2. On top of that, some weeks will see two batches of emails being sent out. Confirming that Valve is ramping up the production and shipments of the popular portable handheld. And while that means good things for the community, it also means we’re likely to see more games getting Deck Verified as more people (developers included) get their hands on a Deck. Valve says that by the second month of orders in Q2, the company will be in the “hundreds of thousands” with regard to how many units have been shipped out. In addition to the Steam Deck, Valve is also working towards getting the Steam Deck Dock accessory into people’s hands. It has yet to put this up for sale, though it should arrive sometime in the Summer. While you wait for your own Steam Deck, it can’t hurt to familiarize yourself with the list of games that are already verified. Additionally, you may want to head over to the official Steam Deck subreddit and browse through posts. As this could give you a good idea of what people think of the machine so far.
